Happy Year of the Dog everyone!

From the Chinese Culture Center of San Francisco Web site:

"People born in the Year of the Dog (1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006) possess the best traits of human nature. They have a deep sense of loyalty, are honest, and inspire other people's confidence because they know how to keep secrets. But Dog People are somewhat selfish, terribly stubborn, and eccentric. They care little for wealth, yet somehow always seem to have money. Dog people make good leaders. They are compatible with those born in the Years of the Horse, Tiger, and Rabbit."

Even though I'm a D-O-G, I was born in the year of the Rat. Human #1 is a Boar and Human #2 is a Snake. I'd ask Fat Cat and Mean Cat but they would just say they're Tigers. The baby, hence to be called Human #3, will get to be Dog. Despite me being a Rat, I'm sure we'll be compatible.

Last night I got to see one of my favorite people in the world. Boy, does my tail get to wagging when Vivi comes to visit. I wanted to show her my new toy, Bear, but I was too excited and couldn't find him. Instead I sneaked her some kisses while she was trying to pet Mean Cat (not that she should bother). Although lately, Mean Cat hasn't been that mean. I keep hearing Human #1 and #2 talk about giving her Prozac but I don't know what that means. Whatever it is, I hope they keep doing it. I was getting tired of barking at her when she was bad. I might even let her share my doggie bed. Fat Cat is already welcomed to curl up with me on cold days. I hope you are staying warm like us.
